What's Blooming? You'll find out here!

Use this website to help identify plants you see blooming in or near Academy Village. Click on the month in which you find the plant blooming. Bloom time can be influenced by recent temperatures, precipitation, irrigation, day length, and  sun/shade situation. If you don't find your plant, try the month before or after.

Plants are listed under different categories such as Native Plants - Annual Spring Wildflowers or Non-Native Plants. The definition of native plant used here is fairly broad. Plants are considered native if they are found in the Tucson area. Several resources, such as BONAP and Saguaro-East Checklist, provide information. Details are given under each species.

Check What's Blooming frequently.  New species will be added and new features, such as a search by flower color, may appear.
